Because the fleur de lis is the symbol of Florence, it can be found on everything from flags and buildings to paper napkins and traffic signs. So while in Florence we had fun searching for the many fleur de lis hidden throughout the city!
We even snagged a snazzy leather Florentine belt for Joey.
On to Rome!
i LOVE this! we just got back from a two-week trip to italy and we visited florence too. i noticed all the fleur de lis and i was confused because i thought it was a french thing! great photos :) they make me want to go back... xo jillian - cornflake dreams
